Financing & rent-to-own

Engineering & permits

Built to code for your county.

A cheap building that fails inspection isn't cheap. We spec every quote to your local wind speed and ground snow load so it passes the first time.

Permits & engineering
Certified vs. non-certified
Certified buildings are engineered for a specific load and come with stamped drawings. Most permit offices and insurers want this.
Wind speed rating
Rated in mph (commonly 105–180). Coastal and open-prairie counties need more bracing.
Ground snow load
Rated in pounds per square foot. Northern and mountain counties often require 30–60+ psf.
12 vs. 14 gauge
Lower number = thicker steel. 12-gauge framing is about 25% stronger and the right call for wide spans and heavy snow.

FAQ

Straight answers

How much does a metal building cost?

It depends on size, current steel prices, the wind and snow rating your address requires, roof style, gauge, doors and options, foundation and site conditions. That is why we price every building for your ZIP instead of posting one price for everyone — usually by 9am the next business day.

What sizes can you build?

From a 12x21 single carport to clear-span buildings over 100' wide. Widths, lengths and leg heights are fully custom in 1' increments on most models.

Do I need a permit?

Most counties require one for enclosed buildings. We offer certified buildings with engineer-stamped drawings for your wind speed and ground snow load, which is what most permit offices ask for.

Do you offer financing or rent-to-own?

Yes. Financing is available through third-party lenders, and rent-to-own has no credit check on most buildings. You can own the building outright at any time.

How long does installation take?

Typical lead time is 4–10 weeks from order to install depending on size and season. Most carports and garages are installed in one day once the crew arrives.

What site prep do I need?

A level site within 3 inches, end to end. Concrete, asphalt, gravel or dirt can work, but enclosed buildings and barndos are best on concrete.

What's the difference between certified and non-certified?

A certified building is engineered for a specific wind speed and snow load and comes with stamped drawings. Non-certified buildings cost less but may not pass inspection or insurance requirements.

Do your buildings come with a warranty?

Yes. Framing and panel warranties vary by manufacturer and gauge. Your specialist will show the exact warranty terms in your quote.

Where do you deliver?

Across the continental U.S. Enter your ZIP in the quote form and we'll confirm delivery and installation for your address.
